# Choose quality and use the result

> Control output quality, compare variants, and edit completed try-ons.

V6 defaults to `resolution: "standard"`. Choose `resolution: "high"` when you need higher output quality. The dimensions depend on the source and output settings; read `result.width` and `result.height` rather than assuming a fixed size.

`num_images` defaults to one and can request up to eight outputs where account limits permit. More outputs or higher quality can use more credits. Each output is processed independently, so one result can fail while another succeeds.

## Inspect before publishing

Compare the garment’s colour, print, logos, cut, and details against the product references. Look closely at hands, seams, closures, overlap between layers, and the person’s face. A generated try-on is a visual preview, not a garment measurement or a guarantee of physical fit.

## Continue editing

Once a job completes, use `result.id` as the source for [edit](/api-reference/operations/edit), [inpaint](/api-reference/operations/inpaint), [upscale](/api-reference/operations/upscale), or [image-to-video](/api-reference/operations/image-to-video). The new operation returns new jobs. Save the selected image ID in your application; Studio’s version history is handled by the service.
